Wonderful instrument. Although there is some fading to case the internals are immaculate and its plays like a brand new piano (please see pictures). Renner action is very responsive and even with minimal wear. Medium to heavy touch. Very resonant and bold tone given its size, especially in the bass. Makes a great sound, bright in the main but with a little sweetness.
Schimmel are know for their quality and are one of Germany’s finest instrument makers. Quarter sawn type casing with nice Walnut effect trim detailing. High spec. Viewings welcome in Palmers Green.
