Sondyne rotary speaker (Leslie type) twin speaker 40 watts. Condition is Used. Collection in person only. I purchased this speaker cabinet in 1973 and used it for 16 years with a Farfisa VIP255 portable organ. Dimensions are, height 605mm, width 502mm depth 404mm and it weighs around 60lbs (approx 30kgs). The information on the makers plate is Model S4 40c, volts 240. Frequency 50Hz and Serial No. 4011. Output is around 40watts and I used it with a homemade pre-amp with a Hammond reverb spring which gave a full sound. It has been stored in my garage for the last 30 years and has been used intermittently. The 20mm casing has had a few knocks and is therefore very tatty as shown in the pictures. However it very robust and I would suggest that as the internals are very reliable they could be taken out and used by someone who wants to make a Leslie type cabinet. The bass speaker is 12″ diameter and the treble horn measures 3″ x 6.5″. The two speed motor works well on both slow and fast speeds and the styrene rotor takes about 1second to go up to speed up and shut down. There is a two way switch included and the connections are via a Cinch multi pin plug and socket. I would like to say this is from a smoke free environment but it is from my garage, containing paint, petrol fumes and all manner of smelly items. This is my first sale on eBay so please bid well. I can help with loading of this but I will be removing the wheels before selling. I will also be advertising my Hammond M102 for sale in the next day or so.
