In excellent condition, this Steinberg overstrung mahogany 88 note upright piano is only approximately 15 years old. It has a rich tone and precise action. The negligible wear on the hammers indicates that it has only had moderate use. The piano has a middle practice pedal to enable the instrument to played at a very low volume.
Gerhard Steinberg pianos were originally manufactured in Berlin, Germany. Around 2000, the company was acquired by Perzina who manufacture Gerh. Steinberg pianos in their Yantai-Perzina factory in China.
