The Steinway A III is probably one of the finest instruments Steinway Ever Built. This piano is so fine Steinway Stopped Building this piano because it competed with the Model B.
Because the back of the A III is larger than the tight curve of a B, it produces a warmer sound. Like no other Steinway ever built.
We have these rebuilt in England. The Craftsman have been in the piano building business for 45 years. Everything about this piano is perfect.
All of the Parts are the Premium German Parts that you can purchase.
One of the main features of the piano is it has a new set of Kluge Keys. This also allowed me to set the Down weight at 52 Grams. In the US a Rebuilder would charge you $4,000 to $4,500 for a new set of Kluge keys.

The Tiffany series was built in 1997 as the 200th year 1797 to 1997 Birthday of the founder of Steinway and Sons. This is number 68. Steinway Probably only built 50 of these in Model L and B and very very few in African Pommele as this is the 2nd Rarest Wood finish that Steinway Offers. Macassar Ebony is the rarest.
