This Steinway B has a very classic tone. That bell like quality that we have grown to love.
Most of the Steinway’s built in the 1990’s have more power than the ones built from 2000 to 2010.
That is because they used spruce from the Northeast instead of from the Pacific Northwest.
Right now the piano is calibrated to a Level 1.
Concert Pianos can offer you a once in a life time experience. If you come to Dallas and you can spend 1 or 2 Days playing Steinway B’s until you find the one that speaks to you. This cannot be done spending 1 or so hours in a dealership. You need a quiet place. You and more Steinway’s than any place in the US.
