This is an amazing Gotrian Steinweig upright which is a German Steinway, from late 1880, warm tone and an intricately decorated sound board which my photos don’t do justice to. I’ve had it tuned and it holds concert pitch in mid and upper octaves, with only very lowest notes sounding flat. One key can stick ccasionally but overall it has a lovely resonant sound. The case is shabby but of a lovely wood which I think is mahogany ,if you want to restore it would be an investment. I’ve learned to play on this and think it’s lovely, but moving house and I need something smaller. On good castors so easy to move. Dimensions 57 inches wide, 27 deep, 48 tall. Please do come to view and play it as then you’ll see what a lovely instrument this is .Bidding starting very low as I’ve no idea of its true value, but my piano tuner said if restored it would valuable.
