Studiologic Numa Compact digital stage piano
This is a bargain example of the wonderful Numa Compact from Studiologic. Why a bargain? Read on…
It’s probably not possible to get a more lightweight digital piano with such a firm professional semi-weighted action – you can pick the instrument up with two fingers yet it plays like a real acoustic piano.
It has two acoustic piano sounds plus electric piano, string pads, organs and clavinet, effects including phaser and reverb, and MIDI In/Out/USB/Sustain/Headphone on the rear panel. You can layer two sounds together, piano/strings or clavinet/pad being particularly powerful.
Panel controls include On/Off, Volume and Patch Change all for a connected external MIDI module or second MIDI keyboard, which is handy.
It has an effective pitch bender, and a modulation (or other programmable controller) wheel.

This instrument plays really well, and with its cool white styling is extremely eye-catching. The current model is 569 new.
Pic is a stock shot, I may photograph the actual item but photos would look the same. Power supply included.
Why such a bargain? Well, there are two problems which may not be problems at all. The left output doesn’t work (from audio or headphone sockets), but there wasn’t much going on in stereo anyway – the remaining mono output is strong and clear. If really needed, you can put a stereo to mono adapter (about 2 on eBay) in the headphone socket for sound from both sides of a headphone, and a stereo splitter (again about 2 on eBay) in the working audio output socket (for example if you really need to do everything on your mixing desk in pairs – can’t see why you would though, since all stereo input mixer channels will split a mono input to both sides).
Plus, the few notes below the lowest F don’t play (audibly or via MIDI). So, you effectively have a six and a half octave instrument with pitch bend and modulation for your money. That may be an easy fix too – the UK distributors and service centre for Studiologic are easily contactable and I’ll give you details should you wish to consider sending it for a service.
Collection in NW London near a Northern Line tube station and the North Circular Road with easy parking, cash payment.
I’d consider shipping (UK only and never to box services like Argos or Sainsbury’s) and the shipping cost is set to cover all the overheads of accepting purchaser not present payment as well as packaging and shipping. If you don’t like the shipping cost, arrange to collect in London and pay cash.
Feel free to ask any questions while the listing is running, not at the last minute please. I’ll consider offers above the opening price, not below it.
