Hello, and thanks for viewing our auction for this KLINGMANN Berlin Victorian WALNUT PIANOIts a beautiful upright instrument, made out of walnut and with a glorious inlay of flowers, buds, and tendrils of leaves to the centre panel on the front of the piano.This is an original piece, in great solid condition, with no woodworm, past or present.The piano has been well used – there are small nicks, scuffs and general wear to the item – all adding character and warmth to a piece of history. There were originally candelabra to each side of the piano – they have been removed over time, and its almost impossible to see where the fixing holes once were.There is a foldaway music stand (up and over in the hinged lid) which is in nice condition, with a green baize to keep the music from slipping.The piano originally came from GA Simpson, 185 Bury New Road, Manchester.A very desirable piece – would bring a touch of classic style to any interior space.Measures approx 50 inches in height x 24.5 inches in depth x 59 inches in width.We are separately listing a large collection of other items – so please see our other auctions.
