The KN7000 – Technics’ ultimate and final keyboard, and I’m only selling mine reluctantly. It has 1236 instrumental sounds and 286 rhythms, SD socket, floppy drive (for which you can get USB emulators fairly easily), adjustable mic input and midi, multiple and single pedals, a stack of discs covering every conceivable genre, a stand, manuals, a Tom & Wills bag, and – icing on the cake – a matching Technics amplifier. All are in very good used condition, and I’m only selling (guiltily) to fund a newer Korg.
This machine plays exactly as it did when brand new. There are a few minor marks on the case but nothing noticeable.
KN7000’s are no longer available, and prices are edging up, simply because it’s one of the best around (if you can find one).
Further information? Well, there’s an excellent KN7000 enthusiasts’ club which can tell you more about these machines than I could write in a month of Sundays. Plus of course there’s stacks of reviews and demos out there.
As you can imagine, it would be pretty impractical to try sending this lot by courier, but I may be able to sort that – talk to me if you have ideas, Or, obviously, collection from near Brighton.
