The impressive Technics SX-GA3 was ground-breaking and way ahead of its time when launched, and is still in regular use by professional musicians at concert venues throughout the UK. The state of the art technology used to sample the sounds made them one of the most popular organs ever made. Even by todays standards, the GA3 still packs a serious punch and YouTube hosts many fine examples of these instruments being put through their paces.The organ itself features a superb sound system delivering 320 watts output, allowing all the effects to sound totally authentic. The organ also features the added bonus of a USB drive conversion. This allows the storage of up to 100 floppy discs on one USB stick. This is incredible given that one floppy disc typically stores up to 20 registration files. These features really do help to make this GA3 something special.The organ was professionally serviced in January last year. This included fitting of the USB conversion and new tempo wheel (encoder). Everything works as it should and as expected, the tempo wheel is extremely responsive and accurate. I have inherited this organ and i do not know how to play this. The instrument is in good condition for its age, but has some age related marks, There is a piece blown on the top left of the cabinet (please see photos). The information above is what i have looked up and read about the organ.As you can see the organ powers up and i have tested the keys which produces a nice sound. This is collection only due to the size and weight.
