TECHNICS SX-KN1400 61 KEY TOUCH SENSITIVE KEYBOARD DIGITAL PIANO/ORGANThis is a used Technics KN-1400 Keyboard.Complete with original AC adaptor.Excellent working order.0verall Good physical condition with minor scuffs and scratches commensurate with age.Please see photographs for physical condition and contents. This is feature rich for it’s age and when new it was a fairly top-end keyboard, round the £900 mark. This really is a combination of a typical ‘arranger’ keyboard, because it has plenty of built in rhythms, fills, auto-chords etc to enable you to play a performance live. but the other more serious side of the keyboard is that it has an on-board sequencer, full sound editing capability and full Midi control for hooking up to a computer if you wish. It has 61 touch sensitive keys (programmable in terms of how sensitive you want the keys to be), with 64 note polyphony meaning it can play 64 notes at any one time. There are 247 different sound types and 13 different drum kits. It has the capability to add a sustain and expression pedal if you want (ports on the back for these inputs) – but I don’t have either of these. There’s a pitch bend wheel on the left side. There are 128 different rhythm types. The sequencer has 16 tracks, so of the 64 note maximum polyphony, you can have sounds within that 64 being generated across 16 different types of sound. ie you can program drums, piano, bass, guitars etc all playing together. And for the lover of the retro – there’s a built in 3.5 inch floppy disk drive! This is a good value keyboard, sounds great, and was an expensive unit when new. It contains many features which in a new keyboard would cost a lot more
