Unbelievable Kimball ‘Bosendorfer’ 170 Grand Piano

Incredibly rare piano produced while Kimball owned Bosendorfer – a very limited number of special edition pianos were produced using the scale and overall frame ideology from a Bosendorfer 170 grand along with much high quality production methods than standard Kimballs

Due to the frame design this piano has a virtually identical tone to a Bosendorfer. This piano also benefits from having had the hammers changed in the past for higher quality ones than standard – believed to be genuine Bosendorfer Renner hammers

This piano was purchased from an ABRSM exam centre where it was used several times a year for graded music exams from grades 1-8 and professional diploma levels, and as a result has been maintained to the highest standards, including recently having the action renovated and felts replaced, and the key bushings replaced this week by ourselves

Outstanding tone and touch suitable for even the most demanding professional pianists. I have a Bosendorfer concert grand in the same room as this piano, and between the two it’s hard to pick the better piano

One of the very best small grand pianos money can buy, and less than half the price of a Bosendorfer of the same age
