A Classical Music Producer is selling (due to serious space problems) A very special and unique bespoke 8′ 9″ 2 manual John Feldberg F3 concert harpsichord used in the Oryx recordings in Walton on Thames by Derek Adlam, Lionel Rogg, Martin Neary, Sir Nicholas Jackson, Nicholas Danby, among others. Tuned at A=415Hz the instrument has been renovated and re-voiced by the respected harpsichord maker Peter Barnes.The manuals have 1 x 16′ 2 x 8′ and 2 x 4′ registers. Lute stops, manual coupler and more. At 8′ 9″ it is a large concert instrument with a magnificent hammered veneer case and a solid silver hallmarked name plate and is in fine condition. Constant temperature of 20C and humidifier set at 45% allows the instrument to have stable tuning. Serial Number F140 (1960).
