Like all Chappells, this is a good quality piano that has stood the test of time. It is well made, has a full rich tone and a fine touch. It is lovely to play and I will be sad to see it go. This upright piano stands at 125 cm in height (152 cm width, 62 cm length), has a mahogany frame finished with a polished veneer. The serial number inside of the piano is 77296, indicating it was made sometime between 1920-1940 which would have been in the factory on New Bond Street in London, England.
There are some superficial scratches on the outside which could be repaired and polished off. The inside is in very good condition and the piano is in good working order.
