Upright piano – compact Zender teak 7 full octaves. Condition is Used.
Nice mellow tone
Measurements: 128cm long, 58cm at widest bit (keys), 98cm tall
A few marks on the top (a drink’s circle) and base (general minor scuffs and scratches).
I bought this ~5 years ago for nearly 500 including the transportation from 100 miles away or so. Since then it has been looked after. I bought it for my 6y old son so he could move on from electronic keyboard, and also for me . . I like Lloyd Webber, Cavatina and a bit of ragtime but for me the mellow tone, the compact size, and colour of the wood were priorities.
The previous owner/dealer was going to restore the scuffs/marks on the wood but I wasn’t bothered about that. as I had a young son and a dog – although the piano has not had any further scuffs etc from either.
Suitable for me and I am ‘failed grade 6’ level (it’s just that I’ve inherited a better piano!)
The piano for sale can hold its head up high against the piano not for sale (from Harrods ~40 years ago).
No stool (we had a deep upholstered one made to match the rest of the furniture we we find very useful.
(For information, if you are nearby – the piano mover charged 45 to move it 5 miles from previous house (from old room to new room.))
