Upright Piano, great for upcycling or decorative use. Condition is for parts or not working.
Price is 99p only, as I just need the room (and I couldn’t list it as free).
It’s a very solid, heavy piece of furniture with a beautiful inlaid design on the front. You can also see where a pair of candle holders used to be attached to the front, giving it a lovely sense of age.
This is a very old piano with a number of keys no longer working (I think a hammer bar on the inside must have slipped, as they were working a few months ago). Plus, it is out of tune and can no longer be tuned. The fabric covering the back has also come away in some parts. Some of the ivory edges have comes off the keys (as can be seen in one of the pictures), but we still have them, so they could be refurbished easily.
In terms of collection, it is on the ground floor with no steps to navigate. There is only a very small lip at the front door. Parking is available right outside the front door. Collection can be arranged for evenings or weekends (or an agreed weekday, as we work). I should think you need at least 2 people to move it, plus we can help at this end.
