Upright Piano J & J Hopkinson. In very good condition despite wear; plays well. Condition is Used. Collection in person only.
This piano has been in the family since 1940 and well cared for/played over the years. I have had it tuned regularly – last one year ago but it will need retuning once moved anyway.
It has a nice sound with a light touch – prospective buyers welcome to try out.
There are quite a few surface marks on it but only visible up close and some of the ivorys have been damaged at the ends – see photo – however this does not affect playing and replacement covers for ivorys can be bought very inexpensively.
There is a key to lock the cover and a piano stool comes with it with store for music sheets. One of the hinges has come loose but easily fixable with two new screws and only affects the opening of the stool lid, stable to sit on.
Dimensions – 150cm long x 60cm deep. 116cm high.
Buyer would need to collect – paino on castor wheels – and no refunds accepted.
