Hi there, thanks for looking at my eBay listing,
It is a solid oak cased upright piano made by the British piano manufacturer Knight.This model of piano was very popular in schools as they had a bright uplifting sound and almost bomb proof build quality..Pianos generally last around 90years with correct servicing and habitat conditions, this one is approximately45 years old so still has plenty of life left in her and is currently being sold due to family household downsize.I have been tuning and maintaining this piano for the past 16 years as I am a qualified piano tuner and technician but am now selling it for the owners..The Bad bit..the front panel had an accident and has a slight split on the front, it has been repaired(glued and clamped) but its the only blemish..This can be seen when the piano keys are covered but when the piano keys are open and playable youd not notice the blemish..(I think Ive included a picture but if not, Ill add one soon..)..She will be tuned to concert pitch for viewing purposes and if she gets purchased by someone within 40miles of my post code I would be happy to offer my tuning service once the piano has settled into a new home..The piano has 88 notes (standard width..)..and has the beneficial overstrung cast iron frame with modern under damper action so fairly light to play, and has an impressive sound for her size..Viewing and test driving this little beauty is welcome, I live in the ST119JQ post code of Stoke on Trent, so please feel free to ask any questions or contact me for viewing..Delivery can be arranged, I will deliver anywhere in the UK but the more local the better (for me really lol..)..With regards to delivery, please let me know about the access to your property and how many steps there may be into your house..(pianos can go upstairs but that will cost extra..)..Any questions please message me on 07779 138369Thanks for looking at this Knight..dont miss a good piano she needs a new loving home..PS, Ive had to mark it as buyer collects on eBay but dont worry, please see the paragraph above.
