This is a beautiful deep mahogany coloured upright piano from London piano manufacturers, Squire and Longson. We inherited this instrument but know that it was bought about 20 years ago from an Islington piano dealer. Apparently Squire & Longson were prolific during the 1920s and 30s and this is in very traditional style.
The dimensions are: height 127cm, length 145cm and width 64cm (at its widest point)
The piano stool comes with the instrument and opens to store music in traditional style. A class leather music bag with steel bar closing is also included.
We are reluctant sellers – but we live in a first floor flat and our neighbours have had enough… Hence the low price.
Naturally given the size of the piece, it’ll be collection only. We are in North London, Stoke Newington N16.
