VERY GOOD / EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR AGE

Arranger keyboard with 61 standard size keys.
Many functions and selectable from the front panel Each has its own LED indicator so easy to see settings. 16 Solo and 16 Orchestra voices can be mapped across the keyboard Switchable effects including two sustain levels and stereo symphonic settings. 21 PCM drum sounds with separate Intro/Ending and 3 Fill-ins that can be triggered from front panel buttons or touch strip at front of keyboard.
Keyboard is 36″ long x 13″ wide x 3.5″ deepCustom Accompaniment programs with 3 registration memory slots. Music Programmer feature allows Solo, Orchestra and Rhythm tracks. Performance parameters changable include Tempo, Transpose, Tuning, Melody volume, etc. Connections on front panel for headphones and rear panel for DC 9-12V supply, Aux Out, L+R/L Out and Expression Pedal. MIDI In/Out sockets are fitted. Keyboard has internal Stereo 2W amplifier playing through 2 x 4.7 speakers.
The first really decent auto-accompaniment keyboard. DX-7 derived sound source, gives 16 good basic tones, called “Orchestra” tones
To these can be added effects such as :-
“Sustain” and what Yamaha called “Stereo Symphonic” Additionally there are another 16 tones classed as “Solo”. “Orchestra” and a “Solo” can tone together to create a substantial sound.For instance, “Orchestra” tone can be assigned to the left hand side of the keyboard split and set at any one of three fixed locations. This allows playing electric piano chords over the top of the accompaniment.LED’s indicate status – no numerical displays,.Auto-accompaniment gives 16 basic drum patterns based on – Swing, Rhumba, Disco, etc. Each has two variations, giving 32 styles in all. It can provide the usual auto-accompaniment stuff such as:-intro, ending, fill in, and single-fingered chords. A “build your own accomapaniment” feature is provided — often omitted by some high end auto-accompamniment keyboards even today!!! A little sequence recorderis also provided
Great keyboard, 1980s style with loads of multi-colored selector buttons each with their own LED. Has some sweet sounds in the “orchestra” and some cool drum selections too. Features 3 track recording, auto bass control, transposer and pitch control. It’s MIDI ready, which Yamaha called “Future-Oriented Music” when it launched. Comes with power adaptor but can also use 6 ‘D” batteries.
Fully tested – every key, every button, every slider, and every function.All work.
