Probably from the turn of the century in polished walnut. Serial No. 1066
Purchased by us in 2003 and completely reconditioned at the time with new wrest plan, tuning pins, strings, sound board bass bridge, and damper felts. The centre pins where checked and all the hampers inspected and reshaped.
The case was re-polished to the original finish.
All in that was 6,000 in 2003.
This was an instrument the children leaned to play on – and now they are off to Uni etc – it stands idle.
