Firstly this Grand Piano is situated at Hoar Cross Hall – DE13 8QS between Lichfield and Burton upon Trent. It will need to be collected by weekend 25th and 26th of January. Clearly a suitable van will be required. Sadly we are unable to deliver. We can organise a little manpower but do contact me if you are the successful bidder first.
In full working order is is used by our local professional who regularly plays for our locals and guests.
We are changing the use of the space and is no longer needed hence the sale. As you can see its had a radical makeover and is very striking. We were about to overhaul the keys (a simple white or black self adhesive veneer can be purchased off ebay and easily applied) but we haven’t got around to doing.
Certainly makes a great statement piece but appreciate it wont be to everyone’s taste. That said it would be easy to change.It dates back to the 1890’s made in New York by Weber. Its a substantial piano with much detail.
You are welcome to come and have a look at and of course feel free to ask any questions and open to offers.Very low starting price at 50 with no further reserve and all monies received to go to a good cause. If you are looking for something different to fill a private or public space this could be right up your street and with a small amount of finishing makes a great talking point and sounds lovely………..Paypal or cash on collection whichever suits.
