Weber / Young Chang E102
Welcome to Berries Barn Pianos – specialising in high quality modern uprights, fully serviced and tuned and carefully delivered to their new homes.
This is a very good quality Weber compact upright piano made c2000 by the well regarded Young Chang company in South Korea. Weber were a top US piano maker, bought by Young Chang in 1987, who have continued producing high quality instruments under the Weber name. Young Chang have previously made pianos for Yamaha, among other big name.
Fully serviced and tuned to concert pitch, this is a lovely looking and sounding piano – great for beginners and intermediate players, or indeed more advanced pianists with limited space. The tone is much bigger than you would expect from a small upright and it is a joy to play.

Tone and tuning
It has a big and rounded tone with great balance between brightness and warmth, and a very good dynamic range for a small piano. The tone in the bass is also unusually good for an upright of this size. It will be tuned to concert pitch (A=440) prior to sale.
Keyboard and action
The full compass 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action.
Hammers and strings
Not very much wear in the hammers – it has certainly not been played heavily but has been looked after and tuned.
Sound board
Excellent condition, no cracks or splits.
Case
Stylish dark wood case with a really nice satin finish. In overall very good condition – the odd small mark or scratch here and there but nothing very noticeable.
Dimensions – to follow. Quite compact so will fit into tight spaces.
