Welmar – A10Upright Piano
We are very proud to offer another modern upright piano by the highly respected British manufacturer, Welmar. Welmar was established in 1925 byWhelpdale, Maxwell & Codd Ltd. (WMC).Welmar had a reputation for building very high quality, stable pianos with a very fine touch and tone. WMC were originally the U.K agent for the very famous German manufacturer, Blthner. WMC learned a great deal from this close working relationship and incorporated many characteristics and designs, otherwise unique to Blthner, in their own pianos. The use of ‘royal blue’ felt on Welmar pianos is symbolic of the relationship between these two manufacturers. Welmar pianos have always been appreciated by students and teachers alike because they were built with the Blthner tone in mind, by craftsmen devoted to the art of piano-building. The A10 is one of the larger, more modern models of the Welmar range. This particular A10 is housed in a beautifully proportioned satin teak case and offers a full 88 note keyboard and celeste pedal, with a superb quality of sound and a wide dynamic range; typical of Welmar pianos. Like all our pianos offered for sale, this Welmar has been through our workshop and carefully reconditioned, by our highly specialised technicians and comes with our five-year guarantee.
