Wersi Helios W2S
This Organ is In amazing condtion for its age and is fully functional.
It must be one of the better Helios organs available today, certainly the best I have seen.
It comes with the final switch/keyboard layout. which would suggest it was one of the later models to be built.
It has built in stereo amplification and speakers.
All sections appear to be functioning correctly although there are one or two of the small push button switches that sometimes require a couple of presses to engage fully
The Sound Computer (pre-set memory) is fully functional, (key included). This must have been way ahead of its time when this organ was made! The position of all switches (not drawbars) can be captured, memorised and recovered with the press of a button. Very usefull as there is a lot of them!
The labelling of all switches etc is in English which I understand is not always the case with these organs and in perfect condition.
The Wersi Vision (Wersi Harp arpegiator) is fully operational
It is fitted with the additional Piano section on the lower manual together with volume pedal position indicator
It comes with the additional ‘Guitar’ PCB upgrade and Brass filter PCB upgrade fitted
It has the latest (for its time) CX1 programmable rhythm and accompaniment unit
All keys, pedals, drawbars are fully operational
All Additional voice tabs, percussion tabs and Wersi voice are operational
In fact I am not aware of anything that is not working correctly.
There are a few light marks on the cabinet but nothing major although it has faded a little over the years.
It comes with numerous assembly manuals although I dont think they covers the whole organ
It also comes with a copy of the ‘Wersi Players Guide’ by Bill Horn and a separate manual for programming the CX1 rhythm unit
Included is the Wersi height adjustable bench
Although due to its age I can give no Guarantees with this organ, I have owned it for the last three years and when it first arrived I had Peter from Wersi UK give it a good looking over and he fixed a couple of very minor issues. Since then it has performed absolutely OK, with the exception of one or two small switches as mentioned above, however press them a couple of times and they latch ok. ‘It needs to be used’, Peter said
As you can see from the photos it comes with a keyboard lid. Being covered when not in use has kept the keys, switches and tabs etc looking almost like new.
Although the organ is now quite old I have had great fun exploring its many features and finding the sounds from a certain era that it is famous for. However I now need to move on to a new project and therefore need the space. Hopefully someone else will gain as much fun as I did
This is for collection only and as it is heavy will require two people to lift it although I can help at this end if required. Genuine purchasers are also welcome to come and check it out if they wish. I want you to be happy with it.
