Yamaha Clavinova CLP-525, 88-key Digital Piano in Excellent Condition, with matching height adjustable Piano Stool.

The condition is really excellent – it’s hardly been played since we bought it.

Collection in person only – it can be disassembled quite easily and stored in a car – the stand comes away from the piano)

We were recommended the Clavinova by our daughter’s music teacher as its features and weighted real ivory feel keys match a real piano, and you can hook it up to an iPad!

We bought this from new 3 years ago, but it’s probably not even been played more than 30 times, and the excellent condition reflects this.

Grand piano voices are created by recording thesounds of a Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand piano. A single piano was selected andthen tuned to the finest possible standard by a master piano technician. Thesounds were then recorded in meticulous detail, resulting in a superblyharmonious piano tone.
Smooth tonal transitions, perfectly matched tothe player’s touch

A pianist changes the volume and dynamics of thesound by varying the pressure applied to the keys. A Clavinova respondsperfectly to give the player an outstanding level of performance control. Byusing long, carefully-sampled recordings of notes on a piano and unique Yamahatechnologies to achieve smooth tonal transitions, rich sonic detail isdelivered in response to the touch of the player.

Graded Hammer 3 (GH3) keyboard

Using knowledge gained from many years of pianomanufacturing, Yamaha Clavinova has an incredibly realistic keyboard feel thatrecreates the sensation of playing an acoustic instrument. By using a similarhammer mechanism (with no springs) as that found in a grand piano, the GH3keyboard action reproduces the touch of an acoustic instrument, from theheavier feel in the lower register to the lighter touch in the upper octaves.It also features a three-sensor configuration which accurately senses andinterprets the behaviour of the keyboard to create a response and feel verymuch like that of a grand piano.
Synthetic Ivory key tops
Synthetic Ivory key tops reproduce the tactilesurface of the Ivory keyboards once used in acoustic pianos. It features highlyabsorbent material that prevents fingers from slipping even after hours ofperforming, while retaining the ideal texture and feel.
Keyboard Stabilizers for improved stability anddurability
The keyboard fulfills the vital role oftransforming the emotion from your fingertips into sound and therefore, it mustrespond in a stable and consistent manner. That is why Yamaha has fitted keyboardstabilizers to all 88 keys, giving the player a natural feel and improving thestability and durability of the keyboard.

A natural feel throughout the length of the key
The keys on a Clavinova are constructed so thatthe fulcrum is as far from the key tip as possible. This improves playabilityand comfort, especially when pressing at the back of the key. This constructionprovides good key travel, even when performing pieces played mainly on theblack keys and the backs of the white keys, allowing nuanced variations intouch and broadening your expressive range.
