This is a digital piano from top of the range Yamaha Clavinova series with great piano sounds and best quality hammer action keys (weighted just like an acoustic piano)
This Yamaha Clavinova CLP 810S digital piano is in truly superb condition and is fully operational. All weighted keys are working well. 2 pedals, reverb and volume controls. Headphone socket for silent playing. It will come complete with the original instruction manual, smoked perspex dust cover and the original Yahama stool.
Potential buyers will be re-assured to learn that this piano has just been fitted with a brand new pair of genuine Yamaha cushioning felts – these strips cushion the upper and lower travel of the keys, and are the only part of these Yamaha pianos which can really ‘wear out’. So you will have no such worries buying this one as this very important job has been done! (You may wish to ask the seller of any other Yahama Clavinova you are thinking of buying if the felts have ever been replaced, as they do deteriorate over time and if the felts are worn it makes a huge difference to the the feel and playability of the piano)

Stereo Sampling AWM
AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) tone generation has long been recognized as the industry-leader for realistic sound. Because the original sample is close to what you play, AWM has less work to do, and so the sound is even more realistic. And it’s this realism plus a wider dynamic range that makes these CLP Clavinovas sing, allowing you to give performances full of passion and expression.
Hammer Effect (HE)
These keyboards offer the sensitive touch response that makes Yamaha the industry leader in digital pianos, plus a unique extra: instead of using springs or oil dampers to simulate the feel of an acoustic piano, the HE keyboards use actual weights and mechanical linkages to bring an entirely new level of realism.
Extended Polyphony
Conventional digital pianos quickly run out of notes in fast, dense legato passages: you can hear sustained notes being cut off as the instrument “steals” notes when you play a new one. With the new Clavinovas, though, Yamaha has given you the polyphony you need to take care of fast passages with many sustained notes. The CLP840/820/810 offer max. 32-note polyphony so you always have plenty of notes in reserve.
