I am selling this fantastic Yamaha Clavinova Electric Piano. Resplendent in satin black finish, it really is elegant instrument and, even when not being used, is a graceful presence in any room.

For my money, this is the best electric piano on the market. Not only does it look the part (no mess of buttons and LCD screens on the case) but the playability is outstanding. Featuring the full 88 keys, the weighted, natural wood keys accurately mirror the feel of a concert grand even down to the escapement mechanism when the note is released. It is an absolute joy to play for extended periods of time.

With two world-renowned concert grand pianos available at the touch of a button, the CSP Series lets you choose the perfect piano tone for the music you want to play. Offering far more than just sampled sounds, the CSP Series reproduces the Yamaha CFX concert grand and the legendary Bsendorfer Imperial in meticulous detail.

The 2 x 45W amplifiers create a rich, deep and full sound when used in acoustic mode but the sound is equally immersive when played through the headphone socket.

Whilst you can just switch on and start playing, the full functionality of this Clavinova is revealed when you hook it up to your iPad using the Smart Pianist app. There really is too much to write about here and I suggest that you take a look at the Yamaha website to fully understand what this instrument is capable of:

In summary though, you get hundreds of other instruments to play with, not just the pianos, including the whole orchestra, organs, guitars, choirs, drums, percussion etc. They are all of amazingly high quality and are incredibly usable.

The CSP-170 includes the Stream Lights system which will display a score and step you through it, highlighting which notes to play and then moving on at your own pace. It’s a great learning tool.

It also features:

A MIDI sequencer

An Digital Audio Recorder

A full band accompaniment

Microphone input

MIDI in-out

2 Headphone sockets

Wi-Fi connectivity to iPad tablet or USB

All in all this is a hugely impressive instrument, really much more than an electric piano but it does that incredibly well too.

I only purchased it last summer (1998) so it still has 9 months left on the manufacturers warranty.

It cost 2,500 new and it still retails for about that price.

I never sell anything I would not be happy to receive myself. All items are from a pet and smoke free home. Please look at my feedback & feel free to ask questions.

Due to the size and weight of this item, my preference is that you collect in person. Good luck with your bids.
