YAMAHA ELECTONE, EL90 MDR FLOPPY DISK DRIVE No ReserveA Yamaha MDR Floppy Disk Drive and internal interconnecting cable,for Yamaha Electone EL90.Background: This floppy Disk Drive and interconnecting cable, wasprovided to me, by a dealer who sold me a used Yamaha EL90. The EL90developed a problem with reading floppy disks soon after purchase. However, theEngineer who resolved the problem, found that the fault wasnt with the floppy disk drive, but the electronicsinterface circuit board that serves the floppy disk drive. He therefore replacedthe circuit board which resolved the problem. The dealer who sold me the EL90, didnt want me to return thefloppy disk drive and my EL90 MDR was still working fine when I sold it severalyears later, so I never used this floppy disk drive, or the interconnecting lead.Please note that, it is my understanding, this drive will notfit the later Yamaha ELxxx Electone models, such as EL700 and EL900 andwill therefore not fit my EL900m, so I have decided to sell. This drive, may well fit other ELxx series Electones, such as EL70 and others, but I do not have the necessary knowledge to advise on this.I was told by the dealer who provided this EL90 drive, that itwas new, but as I no longer have an EL90, I have no way of testing it. The boxthe dealer provide is included, but as you will see from the label, it was not theoriginal box for the floppy disk drive.Notes Please study my photos carefully before bidding.
