The piano colour is mahogany with a high gloss finish but there is no woodgrain effect and the colour does look different and its hard to capture the depth of colour. In brighter light the colour looks different as you can see in the attached pictures which have been professionally taken.
From searching various sites, the year of manufacture based on the serial number is 1962 and was made in Japan. The piano was refurbished before I purchased this in January 2006.
The piano comes with a Black stool and a very high quality RoqSolid PowerGuard black cover which offers high level of protection.
The piano is in very good condition and has had very little use and has only ever been used by teenage son who played to a high standard. It has never been attacked by a child or just plinked and plonked.
The piano has 3 pedals.
