Farewell to my faithful, reliable P-200. This beloved keyboard has been around the world with me, and served me well, but the time has come to part ways.
Ive used it in every conceivable environment,: studios, concert halls, pubs, and at home. It still has, for my money, the most realistic piano feel of any electronic keyboard, past or present, and the acoustic piano sounds are classic and timeless. On-board are speakers powered by a 2X30 watt (thats right, 2X30 watt) amplification system. And its a pretty good MIDI controller too – unlike many newer electronic pianos, the P-200 has Modulator and Pitch Bend wheels, as well as MIDI In/Out/Thru jacks.There are a few minor dings and scratches (see pictures) but the thing is in perfect working order.
So why am I selling it, you ask. Well the thing weighs 30kg (the weighted action and the internal speakers come at a price!) and Ive just turned 65. Im still gigging, and my back complains everytime I move the thing up-and-down stairs. Time seems to have taken its toll – on me, not on the keyboard! OK.The package includes the piano ,the original manual, and an AC/DCconverter (The piano was originally made for the North American market, and can be played anywhere on the planet). It does NOT include stand, stool, case or sustain pedal. Because of its size and weight,the piano is for collection only, but Id be happy to do whatever I can at this end to help if you want to arrange third-party transport to your destination. One last thing: serious bidders only, please, and, if you decide to collect, no last second haggling!! Good luck!!
