Yamaha PC-100This Yamaha instrument from 1982 was likely the world first keyboard with key lighting feature. Unlike modern such keyboards, not the keys itself but a row of tiny LEDs above the keys flash up to teach keyboard playing. The musics to be learned are stored on so-called PlayCards, those show the musical score and have a strip of magnetic tape on their lower edge that stores the music data, much like nowadays MIDI files.
