Yamaha PSR-E333 – 61 Key touch response electric piano, stand & sustain pedal.
This bundle has served my kids well from beginner to intermediate as well as supporting GCSE music compositions.
It has adjustable soft touch keys and actually sounds like a proper piano on the Grand Piano setting. Then you can go through all the other voices for the other musical instruments in it’s memory – the kids loved this!!
The other great feature is that as you play, it shows on the screen the notes you are playing and where the stave markers are too. This is great when you are first setting out and trying to work out where the notes are.
Although it does have USB out (and the cable is included), we have not used that functionality.
On-board it has it’s own memory so you can record your own pieces. This is great when you want to record a bassline and then work out the top line afterwards. This is also a useful feature for someone learning to play so they can listen back or follow a tutors lesson.
It has a Lesson feature called “Keys to Success” which helps you practise and learn the preset songs.
Most importantly, you can plug headphones into it so that the rest of you can enjoy peace and quiet while someone else is practising!!
