It needs a clean, otherwise it is in full working order, fully tested and ready to use. It can be run on 6 AA batteries or requires a 12V DC power supply / wall adapter. Great for teaching a child how to play and understand music and how music is composed / works. I learned on this keyboard so I want it to go to a good home. It is very dusty as it has been sitting on a shelf for some time. Sound quality is great, you can plug proper studio headphones into it’s 5.25mm stereo headphone jack and practice.
