YAMAHA U3 – one of the best and most reliable upright pianos on the market used at conservatoires, music schools, concert halls, and professional pianists, thanks to its ability to produce a large sound, whilst simultaneously recreating the finest nuances of a pianist’s style. The Yamaha U3 is the bigger of the two pianos in the U Series. This gives it a fuller sound, making it more appropriate for the larger rooms and hall venues.
This particular U3 has a medium tone (not too bright and not too mellow) and such a deep and wide sound! You are always welcome to come and play it your self and I am sure you will be amazed by it’s sound and abilities! I am a graduate of Royal Northern College of Music and as a professional piano teacher and pianist can certainly recommend this to a person of ANY level – beginner to a very advanced.
It has been recently recondintioned – new strings, pedals and hammers so it is a literally new piano which saves you around 6000 (based on the price of a new one 9000). Please see the picture of the hammers – the hammer felts look like the have been completely unused so the sound of this piano is so sweet and powerful at the same time.
