This is a very nice example of a Red! Yamaha YC25D which has been maintained/serviced by me and is in full working order. Apart from a couple of small chips in the top cover it’s in great condition. This combo can keep up with Vox and Farfisas organs as it has plenty of tabs to create a wide range of organ tones.
The guy who runs the Combo Organ Heaven website currently owns one and says:
Known for excellent instruments of all types, Yamaha’s combo organs are arguably some of the best ever made. The first, the A-3, was introduced in 1966, then the YC’s started in 1969, and were available throughout most of the 1970’s. They are capable of cheesy combo organ sounds as good as any, but plug one into a Leslie, adjust the “levers” appropriately, and you have a pretty decent Hammond substitute. The Yamahas use levers instead of drawbars to add voices and effects in varying amounts. They also offer a really good percussion – quite like a Hammond, an excellent vibrato, and a sizeable assortment of other features, some quite unusual, some actually useful.

The original manual is long gone but I’ll print one out for you.

Also comes with the original volume pedal and a Z stand. The organ is quite heavy and includes the lid.
